Linocut Printmaking - Birds of a Feather: Stamp and share
With Kadi Franson
Date and time: Artalicious, Sunday, September 21st, 2 pm to 4 pm
Ages: 15+
Maximum 8 participants
September is the busiest month of the year for migrating songbirds— warblers, thrushes, and flycatchers are flocking through, often under the cloak of darkness. In this workshop, we will hand-carve stamps and create mini prints that celebrate the birds of the Fall migration. Participants will be invited to work collaboratively—stamping onto one large shared piece of paper to create a mixed-species flock for display—as well as on individual pieces of paper. By the end of the session, everyone will have a reusable carved stamp and at least one small print to take home.Reference images will be available. Feel free to bring your own source images and sketches as well. The workshop fee covers all material costs. All skill levels welcome!
