In two, two hour sessions learn both the basics of wheel throwing by forming at least one bowl and then glazing it. The second class you will learn about the mysteries of glaze and firing, where art, chemistry and physics intersect. You will chose the glazes of your choice for your fully functional, food, dishwasher and microwave safe bowls. Through out experienced instructors will provide the support and advice you need to be successful. Clay, tools, and glaze firing all provided. Your bowls will ready for pickup at a later date to show off your new artistic skills to all.

Lively Lizard with Jim and Amy Anderson Students will make their very own colorful lizard out of a chunk of clay. There are thousands of lizard species so students are encouraged to have ideas of how they want their lizard to look. They will paint them with colored slips and afterward they will be slow dried and glaze fired, ready to be picked up in two to three weeks.

Pinecone Windchime
Using nature as our guide we will create multiple forms in descending sizes to create an attractive and musical chime for your home, patio, deck or garden. Cones can be formed either handbuilt or for those with throwing experience on the wheel.

Surface Design Series: Tape & Stencil Relief Techniques
Sunday 2/22/26 10am-2pm
Join Erin for an immersive, hands-on exploration of her intricate surface design process. Drawing inspiration from M.C. Escher, tessellations, and cymatic patterns, this class introduces you to creating bold, precise relief designs using tape, and custom made stencils.You’ll work with small-bottle commercial glazes fitted with syringe tips to achieve clean lines, crisp edges, and detailed pattern work. A selection of premade stencils will be provided, along with guidance on taping methods that allow you to build geometric, repeating, or flowing organic designs.We’ll focus on precision application onto pre-made bisque, so please bring a piece of your own bisqueware to decorate
