Create a keychain or pendent of a cherished logo. It could be a sports team, organization, or meaningful symbol on a 1.25-inch disc whose art design is embossed or concave. You will learn beginning jewelry skills (disc cutter, patina, rolling mill, drilling, filing, and sanding ) to create this beautiful wearable art piece.

Beginning/Intermediate Metalsmithing Jewelry Series

October 15th - November 19th on Tuesdays from 5p - 9p (instruction time), Thursdays from 5p - 9p (studio time), & Saturdays from 9a - 12p (studio time)

Ages:  18+ (instructor approval needed for ages 13-17 years old)

This course is for artists who are interested in using their creativity and learning the skills to make wearable art/jewelry. Soldering, piercing, bending, and setting bezels will be taught. Tools to be used include but are not limited to hammer, saw, shear, torch, rolling mill, hydraulic press, flex shaft, buffer, and lathe.  Advanced students will also use methods for etching and color. An introduction to casting will be available. 

Lost Wax Casting Club (3 sessions)

Saturdays, October 12th - 26th, from 9a - 12p

Ages:  18+ years old

Learn or refresh Advanced jewelry techniques: Make molds of tiny bits of nature, buttons, and miniatures or carve your own design; burn out the kiln; create molten metals with an acetylene torch or gravity-induced centrifugal casting. 

Sterling Silver Anticlastic & Synclastic Bracelets

Tuesday, September 24th, from 5:30p - 9:00p

Ages:  13+ years old

This is a beginner's class on making exquisite inward or outward curved texted silver cuffs. You will use a shear, rolling mill, hydraulic press, and finishing tools.
