Students will learn how to hollow out their sculpture before firing in a kiln. The piece can then be finished using oxides, paint, glaze or wax.

Extra available studio time can be arranged with the instructor.

Saturday December 19th * 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Celebrate the season with color in this fun and festive flameworking workshop! Students will create delicate sculptural forms from molten soft glass on the end of a wire, using brilliant transparent colors layered over white glass for a vibrant, glowing effect. We’ll shape the glass into playful feather points, lollipops, candy twists, and other whimsical forms that come together to create a sparkling holiday ornament designed to nestle among the branches of your tree.

The finished piece is reminiscent of colorful confetti or tiny fireworks, bringing a joyful burst of color to your holiday décor. Perfect for all experience levels, this workshop is a creative and memorable way to explore the magic of glass.
