Portrait Sculpture (6 sessions)

Mondays & Wednesdays, October 7th - 23rd, from 6p - 9p          (additional time may be arranged with the instructor)

Ages:  16+ years old

Sculpt a portrait bust (head and neck/shoulders) of your favorite person in clay. Bring along a friend, relative, or significant other to the first class, where they will be photographed (8 views of head). You will use copies of these images to create a 3D likeness in clay. Learn the sculpture process and how to safely hollow and dry your piece to be fired in a kiln.

Clay and tools will be supplied. Some clay experience is recommended.
