2 Thursdays: November 13th and 20th * 10:00am - 12:00pm 

Learn to use the glass tools and beveled glass pieces to create an original holiday or any day ornament. We have a variety of bevels to select from, add a little stained glass color around the outside, add a little copper foil and solder everything together. Attach a wire to hang and you’re ready for the holidays!

Beautiful Butterflies

Wth over 17,500 species of butterflies in the world, there are so many ways they show off their beautiful colors and designs. Students will make 3 beautiful butterflies; a small, medium and a large. They will start with a template, then create their favorite butterflies using stamps, rollers and colored slips.

The projects will be bisque fired then glaze fired in clear and ready to pick up in 2 - 3 weeks. The finished butterflies can be placed into a potted plant or mounted on a wall or piece of wood to be displayed.

Please note the the youth studio is in a historic building with stairs.

STAINED GLASS BOARDS FOR CHECKERS OR CHESS (3 weeks)

You can have the most gorgeous, original game board you can imagine! A large 18x18 size, use it for checkers or chess or as a table decoration. Learn how to use the glass tools, choose the glass, and design a one-of-a- kind art piece. Glue, grout, and paint and you’re ready to play.

Bobble Head Pets

Bobble Head Pets with Amy & Jim Anderson

Sunday October 11th * 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Students will create a ceramic bobble head pet of their choice! They will start with a one pound piece of clay to sculpt the body and a pinch pot head. Adding details will give their pet character and they will finish by painting them with colored slips provided. Projects will be bisque fired then clear glaze fired and ready to pick up in 2 -3

Youth ages 6 - 14
