Dive into the world of molten glass and discover the art of beadmaking! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to build beads on the mandrel, shape them with confidence, and add simple, colorful designs. In a welcoming and safe studio environment, you’ll get comfortable working with the flame while exploring your creativity. The perfect place to begin your flameworking journey as well as a continuation for our intermediate students.

Copper Enamel Bracelet SOLD OUT

This is a make-and-take class. Use a stationary torch to create enameled copper shapes utilizing a variety of torch enamel techniques to be assembled into a bracelet.  All materials are included.

IMPORTANT: Students taking glass courses using a torch must wear natural fiber clothing (i.e., cotton shirt and denim jeans), closed-toe shoes, and hair tied back and out of the way. Loose clothing that will be in the way of the torch is strongly discouraged. Please wear clothing that is not essential to your wardrobe. AN N95 RESPIRATION MASK IS REQUIRED for your safety.

Have a clay idea you’ve been wanting to try or a project you’d like help completing? This class provides relaxed, instructor-supported studio time with demonstrations, troubleshooting, and individualized guidance in wheel throwing, handbuilding, and surface design.

Students will pursue projects of their own choosing while receiving help with planning, technique, and problem-solving along the way. This class is best suited for students with basic clay experience who are comfortable working independently.

25lbs of clay included. Addional clay available to purchase. Open studio time included.
