Dive into the world of molten glass and discover the art of beadmaking! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to build beads on the mandrel, shape them with confidence, and add simple, colorful designs. In a welcoming and safe studio environment, you’ll get comfortable working with the flame while exploring your creativity. The perfect place to begin your flameworking journey as well as a continuation for our intermediate students.

Intro to Beadmaking Workshop

Step into the world of glass art with this beginner-friendly workshop! Students will learn how to wind molten glass onto a mandrel, shape it into a bead, and apply simple color and decorative elements.

This hands-on experience is a wonderful way to try flameworking for the first time and is the perfect introduction before committing to a full 6-week course.

Landscapes in Glass 3 weeks

Use crushed glass, glass paints, or just layers of glass to produce a two-stage landscape of a favorite place or dream location. 

 

Saturday November 14th 1 pm til 3 pm (project meeting) and Saturday Dec 5th and 12th. 1 pm til 4 pm. All three classes are required. 

Pieces will be fused/slumped between classes or as a final step after the last class and can be picked up 4 to 5 days after last firing. 

Some glass experience helpful. 

Additional glass options available for a fee.
