Let the flexibility of clay, along with the human body and facial features express feeling in sculpture. By creating a figure in clay, students will explore the expression of emotion. Students will learn how to hollow out their sculpture beforefiring in a kiln. The piece can then be finished using oxides, paint, glaze or wax.

Extra available studio time can be arranged with the instructor.
